David  Mitchell  Reyes,  85,   of   Lexington,   Kentucky,   died   Friday,   October  26,  2007,

at   the   Veteran   Administration  Medical  Center,   Leestown  Road,   Lexington,   Ky.

He  was  born  in  Los  Angeles,   California,   Feb.  1,  1922,   to   the  late  Albert  and  Ann

Mitchell  Reyes.   David   was   a  member  of   the   Cynthiana  Christian  Church,   Masonic

Lodge,   Scottish  Rite,  and   Olieka   Shrine.   He  was  a  retired   employee  of  VR  Wesson/

FanSteel   and   an   honorably  discharged   Veteran  of  World  War  II  having  served  in

the  Pacific.

He  is  survived   by  his  wife  of  63  years,   Helen  Haley  Reyes.

Graveside  services   will  be  conducted   2  P.M.   Monday,   October  28,  2007,   at   Battle

Grove  Cemetery,  by   Dr.  Larry  W.  Bishop   and   Rev.  Omer  Hamlin,   under  the  direction  of

Drake-Whaley-McCarty  Funeral   Home.,   Cynthiana,   Ky.

Visitation  will  be   after  12:30  P.M.  Monday,  at    Drake-Whaley-McCarty  Funeral  Home.   Cynthiana, 

Ky.
