John David Mallory, 65, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 at his home in Cynthiana.

Born March 4, 1960 in Madera, California, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a longtime brick and block mason. David was baptized at Cynthiana Christian Church where he spent many hours volunteering and was an avid UK basketball fan.

Surviving him are his mother, Nadine Nicks Sims; a son, Taylor Mallory (Ashley Wells); longtime companion, Tracy Shrout; 2 brothers, Gary & Steve Mallory; a sister, Karen (Mike) French, along with his 3 grandsons: Luka Jae Mallory, Liam David Mallory & Levi Ryan Mallory.

Military honors will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 7th at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, with inurnment to follow.
