Danny Ray Wright, 64, husband of the late Beth Fryman Wright, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025 at his home in Cynthiana.
A native of Harrison County born June 6, 1960 to the late Cecil Ray & Eula Wilburn Wright, he was a lifelong farmer, a former employee of Weber Sausage and Grede Perma Cast, and a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Danny was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan and could often be found at area fairs watching truck & tractor pulls. He enjoyed quiet evenings at home with his beloved best friend Piper, watching TV, listening to soft rock music and keeping up with activities on his scanner.
Survivors include his son, David (Josie) Watkins; 2 brothers, William (Edna) Wright & Mark Wright; 2 sisters, Patricia Wright & Carolyn Wright; his beloved grandchildren: Charlie, Olivia & Ellie “Turtle” Watkins; and special friends, David’s mother Kim Watkins and Matt & Daphne Courtney.
A visitation will be held starting at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 16th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty F.H. concluding with a time of remembrance at 5:00 P.M.
Honorary bearers will be Matt Courtney, Charlie & David Watkins and Billy Joseph, Markus & Austin Wright.
Memorial contributions to assist with funeral expenses are greatly appreciated by the family and can be made directly to the funeral home.
