Dallas Clayton Hisle

Dallas Clayton Hisle, 93, formerly of Cynthiana, husband of Wilma Lee Burden Hisle, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Eastgate Spring of Cincinnati. 

Born September 13, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio to the late William Clifton & Sudie Mae Jefferson Hisle, he was a Korean Era U.S. Air Force veteran serving in Japan. Dallas was a longtime carpenter and boat builder as well as a farmer raising draft horses. Upon retirement he continued using his skills to refinish furniture. 

Additional survivors include his 3 sons: Jeffrey Lee (Ruth) Hisle, Batavia, Ohio, Gregory Clay Hisle, Fort Wright, Kentucky, & Kevin Martin Hisle, Hamilton, Ohio; and a sister, Mariel Tapp, Tipp City, Ohio, along with 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Also preceding him in death were 4 brothers, Linwood, Edgar, Gene & James Hisle, and a sister, Virginia Rogers. 

Services will be 12:00 Noon Friday, July 14th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Rev. Kenneth Ogle. Burial with military honors will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery. 

Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Friday.
