Dale Ann Varner

Dale Ann Varner, 49, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at her home in Nicholas County.

Born January 31, 1974 in Harrison County, she was 1992 graduate of Harrison County High School, a former employee of Toyota and the Nicholas County School System. Dale Ann was an All Star softball player during high school, enjoyed fishing, music, playing video games with Grayson and doing girly things with Camri, and loved all animals, especially dogs.

Surviving are her 2 sons, Jason Richie (Maryanna Denkins) and Grayson Colt McCall; her devoted companion, Dwayne McCall; her father, Gary Varner; a brother, Noochie Varner; a sister, Sydney Nicole Soard; her In-Laws, John & Regina McCall; a special niece, Camri Ann McCall; her special friend, Leigh Ann Garrison; and a grandchild due in February.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Matthews Varner, and her birth father, Kevin Soard.

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held from 2:00-5:00P.M. on Saturday, July 22nd at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home. Following cremation, she will be inurned in the McCall Cemetery, Nicholas County.
