Connie Anne Lemons, 70, wife of 53 years to Joe T. Lemons, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at her home.
Born December 29, 1947 in Versailles, Kentucky to the late John T., Sr. & Willia Zeda Buck Troxell, Connie moved to Cynthiana during her early childhood. She was the former owner of The Cheese Store, a member of the Harrison County Homemakers and Cynthiana First United Methodist Church. Connie was also an accomplished artist, having taught painting classes for several years.
Also surviving are 2 daughters, Lisa Jo Fryman and Beth Anne (Jamie) Ellington; a sister, Mary (James) Riddell; 4 grandchildren: William Troy “T.J.” Fryman, Jr., Spencer Alan Gray, and Chelsea Lynn & Tristan Wayne Ellington, and a special friend, Sharon Wells.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, John T. Troxell, Jr., and a sister, Brenda Joyce Troxell.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Dr. Ted Beam. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Friday.
