Clara Cook Garrison, 91, beloved wife of 51 years to the late Richard Lee Garrison, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at her home.
Born October 14, 1928 in Harrison County to the late Charlie & Elizabeth Jones Cook, she was a devoted farmer & homemaker, a former lunch lady at the Center Hill School and a member of Clays Mill Baptist Church. Clara loved singing in the church choir, farm life and country living.
Left to cherish her memory is a son, Ronnie Garrison, of Harrison County, and several nieces & nephews.
Also preceding her in death were a son, “Little Ricky” Garrison, along with her brother and sisters, Bro. Joe Davis Cook, Ada Dailey and Alice Ratliff.
Private graveside services by Pastor Jeff Fugate & Bro. Flynn Rodgers will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Wagoner’s Chapel Cemetery.
