Cindy Anola Philpott Clark, 65, wife of David Perry Clark, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024 surrounded by family at her home in Cynthiana.
Born September 18, 1958 in Harrison County to the late James Curtis & Eula Whalen Philpott, she was a 1977 graduate of Harrison County High School and a retired employee of the E.D. Bullard Company. Cindy grew up in the Baptist Church, later married in the Episcopal Church and was of the Episcopal faith. She liked watching television and playing on her phone. Cindy’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
In addition to her beloved husband, David, she is survived by her brother, Gary (Theresa) Philpott; her sister, Candi Philpott; a sister-in-law, Debbie Morris; and several nieces & nephews.
Also preceding her in death were her son, James Robert “Jim Bob” Clark; a brother, James Philpott; 2 sisters, Sharon Castro & Kathy Shields; and 2 sisters-in-law, Liska Harrison & Theresa Palmer Cember.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 3rd at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Edward Hirst with burial to follow in Republican Church Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Andy Barnes, Jacob Brewer, Troy Fryman, Daniel Harrison, Brandon Hirst and David Morris.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of service.
