Christene  Laytart  Browning,  93,   of  309  Clifton  Village,   Cynthiana,  Kentucky  died  Saturday,

August  19,   2006,  at  Cedar  Ridge  Health  Care  Campus,   Cynthiana,  Kentucky.

She  was  born  in  Harrison  County,  Kentucky,  April  22,  1913,  to  the  late  Orie  and  Effie  Frances

Marshall  Laytart.   Mrs.  Browning   married  William  P.  Browning   June  8,  1935.   She  was  a  reitred

School  Cafeteria  Manager  for  the  Harrison  County  School  System  having  worked  at  Renaker  School

and  the  Junior  High.   She  was  a  member  of  the  Cynthiana  Christian  Church.

Her  husband  William  P.  Browning  preceded  her  in  death.

Survivors  include  her  son,   Paul  W.   Browning  and  his  wife  Reba,   Paris,  Kentucky.   Two  Sisters,

Goldie  Sowder  and  Mabel  Dennis,  both  of  Cynthiana.   one  grandson,  Gregory  Paul  Browning,

Three  Great  Grandchildren,  Timothy  William  Browning,  Tammy   Frye  and   Jason  Browning.

Three  Great  Great  Grandchildren  also survive.

Services  will  be  conducted  2  P.M.  Wednesday,   August  23,  2006,  at  the  Drake-Whaley-McCarty

Funeral  Home,  by  Dr.  Larry  W.  Bishop  and  Dr.  Tim  Teater,   with  burial  to  follow  in  Salem  Church

Cemetery.   Friends  may  call  from  5  to  8  P.M.  Tuesday,  August  22,  2006   at  the  Funeral  Home.
