Carolyn Sageser Vance, 63, wife of the late Arthur Gilbert Vance, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home.

Born January 7, 1959 in Harrison County to the late William Logan & Mary Frances Williams Sageser, she was a lifelong farmer, a devoted homemaker and a doting Mamawl to her beloved grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Mary Carol (Panfilo) Vance-Ramirez and Sherri Vance (Gary Cunningham); 5 grandchildren: David Ramirez, Jordan Ramirez, McKayla Vance, Reese Vance & Reyna Ramirez; a great-granddaughter, Alayna Ramirez; 2 life-long friends, Cookie Whitaker & Rosie Carson; and a niece, Faye Hamilton.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 17th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home with burial to follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.  

Casketbearers will be Gary Cunningham, David Ramirez, Jordan Ramirez, Panfilo Ramirez, McKayla Vance and Reese Vance.

Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Sunday.
