Carolyn Jean Richardson Shremshock, 63, of Cynthiana, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

Born January 13, 1961 in Harrison County, she waitressed for many years and also worked as a personal sitter & caregiver. “Cricket,” as she was known by family, had a big personality and loved her bling & traveling. She was truly kind-hearted and enjoyed taking care of people.

Surviving are her son, Philip Lewis Richardson; her father, James Lewis Richardson, Sr.; a brother, James Richardson, Jr.; a sister, Sandra Lynn Smith, all of Cynthiana; 4 grandchildren: Haley Slone, Leo Clay Richardson, Austin Williams & Lilly Lou Windeler; and 2 great-grandchildren, Lakeli & Sutton Slone.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Lou Isaac Richardson.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 7th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home with burial to follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as casketbearers.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.
