Bobby Gene “Buck” Fryman, 81, husband of 60 years to Martha Hill Fryman, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at his home in Cynthiana.
Born April 28, 1942 in Nicholas County to the late Earl & Besslean George Fryman, he was a former employee of The Stamler Corporation & Trane Corporation, once served as a Carlisle Police Officer, and was a member of Leesburg Christian Church. Buck enjoyed fishing, carpentry and remodeling houses, and was selflessly devoted to his family.
Additional survivors include his 3 daughters, Robyn L. Fryman, Becky (Dale) Arnold & Kristi (Jeff) Sinkhorn; a granddaughter, Nikki Arnold; 4 grandsons: Justin Arnold, Hunter (Ryan) Fryman-Sinkhorn, Samual (Christine) Sinkhorn & C.J. (Becky) Crawford; 1 great-granddaughter, Lailah Arnold; and several nieces & nephews.
Also preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Bill (Joan) Fryman and Jim (Virginia) Fryman; and a nephew, Steve Fryman.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 6th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Chaplain Kurt Van Batavia. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Gary Anderson, Justin Arnold, Nikki Arnold, C.J. Crawford, Hunter Fryman-Sinkhorn, Samual Sinkhorn and Brice Turner.
Honorary bearers will be Dale Arnold, Jeff Sinkhorn, Steve Carpenter, Eric Hadley, William Horn, Clarence Jones, and all nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care and the Flora Shropshire Animal Shelter.
