Betty Lane Pacey Stoner, 86, wife of the late Buddy Lee Stoner, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 at her home in Cynthiana.
Born October 25, 1937 in Franklin County to the late Arthur W., Sr. & Marvel Marie Rice Pacey, she was a devoted member of Indian Creek Christian Church where she had served as secretary for many years, and she had also worked for the Cynthiana Democrat.
Surviving are 2 children, Jeffrey Lee Stoner & Cheryl (Jerry) Hoskins; 2 brothers, Arthur W. Pacey, Jr. & Larry Pacey; 2 sisters, Brenda Thomas & Gail Hallet; 3 grandchildren: Naomi Stoner, Kristin Collins & Taylor (Brittany) Hoskins; 7 great-grandchildren: Brittney, Kelsey, Estella, Phoenix, Jenna, Caleb & Kinsley; and 5 great-great grandchildren: Michael, Corbin, Waylon, Lillian & Emmanuel.
Also preceding her in death was a brother, David Pacey.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 25th at Indian Creek Christian Church officiated by Pastor John Chamberlin. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Her grandchildren will serve as casketbearers.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
