Betty Marie Nolen Adams, 90, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025 at her home in Berry.
Born June 8, 1935 in Cotton Gin, Kentucky to the late Willie & Mary Lee Estep Nolen, she worked for many years as a caregiver and was a member of the Christian Faith Center. Betty loved attending church, taking care of her flowers and spending time with her grandbabies.
Surviving are 4 children: Terry Adams, Betty Jo (Jamie) Frederick, Denise Clifford and Susan (Bruce, Sr.) Kennedy, all of Harrison County; 2 sisters, Lillian Chism and Novella Means; 4 grandchildren: Chad Vance, Nicole Getter, Megan (Josh) Ritchie and Ashley Rice; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren with another on the way; her best friend, Sandy Ruth; and family friend, Emily Vance.
Also preceding Betty in death were her husband, David Johnson; her husband and father of her children, Joe Albert “Curly” Adams; 2 brothers, Willie, Jr. & Jerry Wayne Nolen; a sister, Dorothy Jean Benton; and a son-in-law, Jerry Wayne Clifford.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 19th in the Paris Cemetery Chapel by Pastor Kenny Sons.
Family and friends will serve as casketbearers.
In lieu of flower memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
