Bernice Ellen Platt Obituary
Bernice Ellen Platt, 74 of Carlisle formerly of Cynthiana died Thursday April 12, 2007 at the Uof K Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born October 17, 1932 in Harrison Co., KY a daughter of the late Ferd and Clara Jane Hill Whalen. She was a homemaker, a member of the Carlisle Christian Church.
Her husband Wilbur Platt and her brother Leon Whalen preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law Kathy and Delmus Murrell of Carlisle, 2 grandchildren Bradley (Rhonda) Murrell and Susan Rose, 4 great grandchildren Keegan Lee Rose, Brandon Lee (Alison) Murrell, Heather Lynn Murrell, Tyler Gene Rose and 3 step great grandchildren J.T. Fryman, Jacob Fryman and Logan Fryman.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday April 16, 2007 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Brenda Routte.
Burial will follow the service in the Battle Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Sunday April 15, 2007 at the funeral home.
