Barbara Sue Franklin Hendricks, 77, beloved wife of 57 years to the late Robert W. “Bob” Hendricks, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus.
Born June 15, 1945 in Harrison County to the late Louis & Rachel Cook Franklin, she was a graduate of Hager Beauty School, worked for over 30 years as a hair stylist in Cynthiana and was a devoted member of Cynthiana United Methodist Church, where she was active on the Administrative Board, the Communion Committee and the Communications Team.
Surviving are a sister, Nancye (Michael) Canter; 2 nieces, Aymie (Jason) Carson & Brianna (Bryon) McCreary; a great-niece, Reagan Carson; a great-nephew, Brady McCreary all of Kansas; her “daughter” Christy (Billy) Gibson; and a god-daughter, Evan Nicole Gibson.
Graveside services will be at 5:00 P.M. Saturday June 18th in the Battle Grove Cemetery officiated by Steve Strawzell.
