Anna  M.  Matthews,  82,  of   Cynthiana,  Kentucky,  died  Friday,  September  22,  2006,  at  Harrison

Memorial  Hospital.

She  was  born  in  Harrison  County,  Kentucky,  March  21,  1924,  to  the  late  Sam  and  Bess  Laughlin

Brown.   She  had  been  a  retired  employee  of  Hansley  Mills  and  Cynthiana  Mills  and  a  private  duty

sitter.    She  was  a  member  of  the  Cynthiana  Christian  Church.

Her  husband  Everett  Matthews  preceded  her  in  death.

Survivors  include  one  son,  Everett  Dale  Matthews,   Cynthiana,  Kentucky,   Two  Granddaughters,

 Judy  Dale  Pickett  and  her  husband,  Shannon,   California,   and  Hannah  Camille  Matthews,  Cynthiana,

Kentucky.    Two  Great  Grandsons,  Joshua  Daniel   Pickett  and  Jonathan  David   Pickett.

Services  will  be  conducted  1  P.M.  Tuesday,  September  26,  2006,  at  Drake-Whaley-McCarty

Funeral  Home,  with  burial  in  Battle  Grove  Cemetery.   Memorials  may  be  made  to  Cynthiana

Christian  Church.  Visitation  5  to  8  P.M.  Monday.
