Agnes Kennedy McBee, 97, wife of the late Ralph McBee, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Born October 19, 1921 in Bourbon County, she was the last surviving child of the late Marion & Maude Small Shaw, was a retired employee of Edgemont Manor Health Care and a member of Cynthiana Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda “Bu” Hicks, and 2 granddaughters: Ashley L. Hicks (Marcus Adams) & Abby L. Hicks (Eric Dingus).
Also preceding her in death were 2 brothers, Lovell & Robert Shaw, and 3 sisters: Laura Belle Maybrier, Betty Collins and Louise Hart.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home with Tunya Adams & Dale Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery
Casketbearers will be Jim Ammerman, Marcus Adams, Calvin Collins, Jim Collins, Eric Dingus and Mike Maybrier.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Cedar Ridge Activities Fund or Living Free of Harrison Co.
