Myrtle Elizabeth Richey Warth, 97, wife of the late Roy Patterson Warth, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at her home.
Born December 5, 1920 in Harrison County to the late Roy & Laura Harney Richey, she was a member of the Leesburg Christian Church. Myrtle was a lifelong “farmers wife” who took great pride in her home and especially her beloved garden.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Warth Powell; a daughter-in-law, Iris Warth; 2 grandchildren: Billy Patterson Warth, II, and Debbie Elizabeth Powell; 3 great-granddaughters: Laura Ashley Warth, Kayla Marie Warth Chivarrias and McKenna Leigh Warth Adams; and 6 great-great grandchildren: Trenton Noah Ford, Hazel Grace Adams, Maelyn Adams, Sadie Brooke Adams, Saul Ariat Patterson Joseph and Camila Rose Chavarrias.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Billy Patterson Warth, her son-in-law, Ward Powell, a grandson, Gary Lee Powell, and a brother, Dee Richey.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 5 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Larry Bishop and Sammy Harris. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.
