Goldie England Harney, 90, of Cynthiana, KY., died Friday, May 5, 2017, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bracken Co., KY., October 21, 1926, the daughter of the late Walter and Effie Whitley England. She was a member of Elmarch United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Mary Henson Circle. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Harney, son Leslie Keith Harney, two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include sons, Michael (Annetta Gayle) Harney, Bowling Green, KY., Ron (Dean) Harney, Richmond, KY., daughters, Kathy (Kenny) Rose and Jeanne (Gary) Crump, both of Cynthiana, KY., and Helen (Chip) Kemper, Murfreesboro, Tenn., brother, Jimmy (Joyce) England, Ashland, KY., sisters, Blanche Asbury, Cynthiana, KY., Lena (Herchel) McCauley, Orlando, Fla., and Lela Bloomer, Ohio. Grandchildren, Denia (Craig) Tackett, Kenneth (Anna Eason) Harney, Michele Harney (Stephen) Grooms, Kara Rose (Jeff) Cowan, Kelly Rose Doming, Jillian Rose (Justin) Williams, G. W. (Amanda) Crump, Lauren Nicole Kemper. Great Grandchildren, Kyle Michael and McKenzie Gayle Tackett, Michael Guy Harney, Hayden Sara and Harper Sophia Grooms, Kaylee Rose Childers, Sydney and Chase Doming, Addison and Nathan Williams and Allen Crump. Services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Monday, at the funeral home.
