Clarine Cason Lemons, 101, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Cedar Ridge Health Care.
Born May 5, 1917 in Harrison Co. to the late Grover Cleveland and Lizzie Warner Cason, Clarine worked at the Lewis Hunter Distillery and went on to work for many years in the retail industry in Cynthiana at Patton’s, The Clara Shoppe and The Style Shop. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a lifelong member of the Lady Elks.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Carl Lemons, a great-grandson, Matthew Cole, a sister, Marceil Hatterick, 3 brothers, Edward, Walker & Raymond Cason and a son-in-law, Robert Cole.
Surviving are 3 daughters: Pat Cole, Kay (Billy) Whitaker & Donna (Glenn) Linville; a sister, Catherine Wells; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren along with her many loving care-givers at Cedar Ridge.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Ted Beam. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Cedar Ridge Activities Fund, Cynthiana First United Methodist Church or Bluegrass Care Navigators.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.
