  James E. Drake, Funeral Director/Embalmer

  Jim is a Harrison County, Ky. native and a graduate of Harrison County High School. He graduated from Kentucky School of Mortuary Science and is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Jim is married to Patty Drake and they have one daughter, Elizabeth Drake Simpson and two grandchildren, Ashley and Jon Aaron. Jim is a past president of the Cynthiana Lions Club, member of Cynthiana Elks Lodge #438, St. Andrews Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Kosair Shrine. Jim served as Harrison County Coroner for 13 years. Jim enjoys golfing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

  Patricia A. Drake, Funeral Director

  Patty Drake is a native of Louisville, Kentucky and is a graduate of Butler High School and is a licensed Funeral Director. She is married to Jim Drake and they have one daughter, Elizabeth Drake Simpson and two grandchildren, Ashley and Jon Aaron. Patty has served as past president of the Harrison Memorial Hospital Auxilliary and on each Sunday has been a part of the Harrison County Hymn Sing on WCYN Rado for the last 30 years. Patty also serves as organist for the funeral home.

  Beth Drake Simpson, Funeral Director/Embalmer

  Beth is the daughter of Jim and Patty Drake. She is a graduate of Harrison County High School and Kentucky School of Mortuary Science. She is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
  Beth is married to Jon Simpson and has two children Ashley and Jon Aaron Simpson. Beth is very active in her childrens school activities.

  Joe Robert Barkley, Funeral Assistant

  Bob is a native of Harrison County, Kentucky. He is married to Velma Caswell Barkely. Bob started out in the funeral business working for the Whaley Funeral Home as a funeral assistant.
  He retired as Cynthiana Police Chief and served as a deputy coroner for Harrison County. After his retirement he has worked as a funeral assistant for Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
  He is a member of the Cynthiana Christian Church.

  James Snodgrass, Funeral Assistant

  Jim is a native of Harrison County, Kentucky. Jim is married to Martha Gossett Snodgrass. Jim worked in Louisville and after his retirement he returned home to Cynthiana. He has worked as a funeral assistant for Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home. Jim is a member of the Cynthiana Christian Church where he and his wife Martha are very active in most activities.
