Evangelist Connie Faye Williams, 72, formerly of Cynthiana, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Respiratory & Nursing Center of Dayton.
Born May 19, 1951 in Harrison County to the late John T. & Sylvia Collins Franklin, she was a devoted mother & caregiver and member of Christ Temple New Assembly. Connie enjoyed collecting angels, reading the Bible, listening to gospel music and evangelizing about Jesus. She loved Diet Mt. Dew, Cheetos, watching Gunsmoke and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Janee Williams Calloway of Florence; a brother, John Franklin of Lexington; 3 grandchildren: J’toria, J’shan & J’ahna Rigsby; 3 great-grandchildren: J’naejah & Jermemie Rigsby, and Mylah Steele; a niece; 6 nephews and a host of great-nieces & nephews.
Also preceding her in death were her son, Kenneth Williams, Jr.; her former husband, Kenneth Williams, Sr.; 4 brothers: Noah, Ray, Jessie & Luther, Jr. Griffin; and her sister, Betty Thompson.
Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 23rd at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon Saturday until the time of services.
